Oregon House/Dobbins

Originally a traveler’s stage coach rest-stop established in 1851, the Oregon House community nowadays is mostly comprised of a small group of locals living in homes on acreage. Oregon House is 22 miles northeast of Marysville, in Yuba County, at 1526 ft elevation. A great climate for agricultural pursuits, Oregon House is home to Renaissance Vineyard and Winery, winemakers who focus on limited production of the Bordeaux and Rhone families of varietals which are handcrafted in a traditional European style. Nearby small community of Dobbins was originally established as a farm community, and has a post office, a general store, two schools, and charming Lake Francis Resort.
